In Toos Rubber Industries (S.O.T), different kinds of rubber parts are made by using hydraulic press, compression and injection technologies. Also casts are being designed in proportional to applied presses. (tonnage, press), compression, transition and injection methods.
Many of rubber parts like mould parts, belt, and tire are vulcanized in compression presses. Compression presses are categorized to hydraulic, link and special presses. In this method, before casting, a preformed pieces get ready by building up, handy punch and extrude from applied mixture. Then, this preformed parts formed in casts by pressing and heating. Vulcanization occurs in the time of casting too. It is worth to note that, sensitive parts and oil seals with hydraulic presses equipped is vacuum are manufactured in S.O.T which in these presses, compression plus vacuum causes parts with zero defects. One of the parts of production line with this way in Toos Rubber Industries is mentioned at the below.
This method, in S.O.T, is automatic and equipped with advanced computerized systems for regulating process conditions which are able to produce different kinds of sensitive rubber parts. Injection cast machines are in two models of vertical and horizontal. This machines consist from two parts of screwer and compound injection. Usually, the parts with low waste are produced in this method.
Transitional casting is more advanced than compression press and is more similar to injection casting. In this method casts are used which are constitute from three parts, including upper and lower parts which are connected press hydraulic sheets and a middle part which is mobile and transferable. The upper part of the cast in newer machines often is designed like a piston and the middle of the cast includes a cylinder which receives mixture for forming and filling the cast like nozzle of injection while the lower part of the cast just has the role of a cast.
